Explore our new range of arts and history resources
Our new collection of databases from Bloomsbury contain a wealth of information for anyone studying and has an interest in the applied arts, film, history and philosophy. Each database focuses on a different speciality and brings together e-books, screenplays, archives, interactive timelines, biographies and much more.
To access the individual databases just click the links below if you're on campus or search for them using Library Search. Please make sure you click on the "Shibboleth Login page" link on the right-hand side of the screen when accessing them off campus.

This unparalleled digital reference tool features the Cultural History Series (multi-volume works spanning 1000s years on animals, childhood, food, dress, gardens, the body, senses, sexuality, theatre, women and work) and cultural history e-books.
This digital resource contain thousands of critical biographies of individuals who have contributed to the history of intellectual thought.
Comprises of 800,000 pages of scanned documents produced between 1874 and 1965 plus specially commissioned essays by leading historians and curated groups of documents focussing on wide areas of study and research.
