Open QuoteYour Harvard Referencing website is excellently presented and clear. It's used by many other institutions to give students a clear guide/reference.

However, one piece of information on there is unclear - the list of information is presented e.g. :

Author, Initials., Year. Title of book. Edition. (only include this if not the first edition) Place of publication (this must be a town or city, not a country): Publisher.

To tell us how to correctly cite, the word 'author' is unclear. For many students, especially foreign nationals, 'author' does not make it clear that what is required is the 'SURNAME' of the author.
