Chelmsford Library Wellbeing Space Update

15 February 2023

Take a look at how we've been updating this space for you

Last year we asked you what you wanted to see in your Wellbeing Space. Over the last few weeks we’ve been working on updating our Wellbeing Space on the 1st floor in our Chelmsford campus library so why not take some time to take a look next time you’re here.

Room containing sofas, rugs, a bookcase, plants and a screen on the wall

We’ve added a screen above one of the sofas - it displays relaxing images from nature alongside wellbeing information and contact details for further help and advice.

There is now a small collection of books within the Wellbeing Space to support you in your student life – find help with finance, food, dealing with stress and more. Read the books in the library or borrow them using the self-service machines on the ground floor. We’ve also added some magazines to one of the bookcases for you to read.

We’ve even added a new picture to one of the walls:

Don’t forget our online library Health and Wellbeing guide is here to give you guidance and ideas for keeping your mind and body well throughout your studies.
