Library access now available for SCONUL Access and Alumni

The SCONUL Access scheme is now live again but not all universities are participating see https://www.sconul.ac.uk/sconul-access

ARU is participating so we are accepting applications for membership from other university students in the scheme.  Those SCONUL Access students who were already registered with us with an expiry date in the future will be able to now tap into the libraries with their existing ARU library cards.

Alumni can now register for membership via our membership page https://library.aru.ac.uk/members/members.html

Existing Alumni members will have their memberships reactivated for the period of time that was left on their membership on the 20 March 2020.  We will be emailing the existing Alumni members to inform them of their new expiry date for their library membership.

Membership applications can only be processed Monday-Friday and will take 2 weeks or longer at this time as we reintroduce our external access.

Due to Covid-19 we are still not accepting any Reference membership applications before September 2022. This means we cannot accept applications for access for visitors to consult library materials or use study space.
