New Library Wellbeing Space in Chelmsford Library
15 October 2021
New room set aside for student wellbeing opens in Chelmsford Library
Studying in our Chelmsford campus library? We've created a brand-new Library Wellbeing Space to support you. You can find this room on the first floor of the library next to QUE117.
This room is set aside for your wellbeing. It's a place you can come for quiet reflection, where you can take a break from everything, sit quietly and have a moment to yourself.
It can be hard to take the time you need to look after yourself. We have lots of different leaflets and posters with information on how to stay well. Feel free to browse and take them with you, or you can try some colouring, crafting or origami to take your mind off of things.
It is not a study area or common room for groups of people. We also ask that you do not eat or use laptops in the room. Please respect this.
You can help us improve this space as we move forward. If you have any suggestions for us about the wellbeing space please let us know by leaving feedback: Library Feedback
We hope you find this space useful and that it helps you stay well.
Don't forget we also have an online Library Health & Wellbeing Guide full of guidance and ideas for keeping your mind and body well: Health & Wellbeing Guide
